Capella Singapore

Capella is absolutely gorgeous and the colonial-modern architecture photographs beautifully. The food and service lived up to the five-star reputation. However, getting guests to Sentosa required some planning — we arranged shuttle buses from Harbourfront, which worked well but added to the cost. Also, some elderly relatives found the walking distance between the ceremony lawn and the reception hall a bit much. The coordination team handled everything professionally and the overall experience was wonderful, just factor in the Sentosa logistics when planning.

If you want a resort wedding that feels like a destination celebration without leaving Singapore, Capella is it. The Knolls lawn ceremony overlooking the South China Sea was magical — our guests gasped when they saw the setup. Bob's Bar cocktails before dinner were a hit, and the banquet food was genuinely some of the best wedding food we've tasted (the wagyu beef and king prawn were standouts). The team was incredibly professional and anticipated our needs before we even asked. Yes, it's expensive. But for a once-in-a-lifetime celebration, we have zero regrets.
