If your priority is food, Chinese restaurants are where the best value sits. You may give up the hotel suite, but you gain stronger menu value and lower minimums.

Ban Heng Restaurant at Orchid Country Club

Ban Heng at Orchid Country Club has the lowest published prices on this list. Its 2025/2026 wedding price list runs from S$838 to S$1,538 nett per table on Monday to Thursday and S$1,088 to S$1,738 nett from Friday to Sunday, inclusive of service charge and GST, depending on menu.

Why it works:

• Very competitive pricing for a full banquet
• Takes weddings from 100 guests up to 1,000
• A private room for weddings under 100 guests
• Good for couples with big families who care more about food and value than marble foyers

Two things to check: the Grand Ballroom is charged at weekend prices only, and the published list covers 2025/2026, so ask for the 2027 menu. If you have many elderly guests, arrange clear transport instructions and check parking.

Fu Lin Men

Fu Lin Men runs weddings at the Chinese Swimming Club and Temasek Club, with menus from S$938++ to S$1,888++ per table. For 2027 weddings, add S$40 per table, so the lowest menu is about S$978++ (about S$1,173 nett).

The Stella Grand at the Chinese Swimming Club is priced separately, from S$1,338++ to S$2,288++ per table (plus S$50 for 2027) with a minimum of 15 tables, so it sits above this budget.

Chui Huay Lim Teochew Cuisine

Chui Huay Lim's 2025 to 2026 packages are S$999++, S$1,399++ and S$1,799++ per table, with a minimum of 10 tables and halls for up to 360 guests. Only the S$999++ package (about S$1,198 nett) is under S$1,500 nett. The S$1,399++ package is in the "just over" range.

Good fit for:

• Teochew families
• Couples who want restaurant food with a more refined setting
• Celebrations of 10 tables and up

Ask for the 2027 prices, whether corkage is waived, and whether weekend dates require a higher menu.

Ah Yat Seafood Restaurant

Ah Yat's DoubleTree branch lists wedding menus from S$1,088 to S$1,688 nett per table. The page is undated, and its menu images show older prices of S$988 to S$1,588, so confirm the current menu before you budget. For seafood-forward Chinese banquet food, it belongs on the shortlist.

Qian Xi

Qian Xi's 2026 wedding menus are S$1,218, S$1,298, S$1,358, S$1,428, S$1,608 and S$1,818 nett per table of 10. The first four are under S$1,500 nett. Ask whether 2027 prices change.

Peach Garden at Thomson Plaza

Peach Garden Thomson Plaza uses the same price for lunch and dinner and takes 90 to 300 guests. Prices per table for 2026 and 2027:

Menu A is the one that fits under S$1,500 nett. Menu B is in the "just over" range.

TungLok Seafood and Spring Court

Neither restaurant publishes current wedding prices on its own site, so ask for a quote. For a rough idea, SingaporeBrides' published 2027/2028 price list shows (nett, per table):

Affordable Hotel Wedding Venues Under S$1,500 Nett

Hotels bundle the ballroom, catering, AV, bridal room, parking coupons and event support. The catch is Saturday dinner pricing, so look hard at weekday dinners and lunch packages.

Copthorne King's Hotel

Copthorne King's Hotel keeps the same prices for 2026 and 2027:

• Monday to Thursday lunch and dinner: S$1,238++ per table (about S$1,484 nett)
• Friday to Sunday lunch: S$1,488++ (about S$1,784 nett)
• Friday to Sunday dinner: S$1,588++ (about S$1,904 nett)

There is a minimum of 150 guests. A Monday to Thursday date is the only way to stay under S$1,500 nett here.

Holiday Inn Singapore Atrium

Holiday Inn Singapore Atrium's standard banquet packages are above this budget: S$1,758 nett (lunch any day, dinner Monday to Friday) and S$1,958 nett (weekend dinner) for 2026, rising to S$1,808 and S$2,018 nett for 2027. Its SG61 promotion, for bookings made on or before 30 December 2026, holds 2027 weddings at S$1,758 nett and S$1,958 nett.

Two packages do fit a tight budget:

• Malay wedding package: S$148 nett per person (S$1,480 per 10 guests), minimum 150 guests

Why couples shortlist it:

• Havelock MRT access, which is useful for older relatives
• Atrium Ballroom for larger weddings, with capacity listed up to 400 guests
• Changi Ballroom for more intimate celebrations, with capacity listed up to 200 guests

Just Over: Under S$1,500++ (About S$1,800 Nett)

If your cap is S$1,500 before service charge and GST, these venues fit. After the ++ they land between about S$1,550 and S$1,800 nett per table.

Changi Cove

Changi Cove suits couples who like a quieter, retreat-style setting and do not need an Orchard Road ballroom. Its prices per table:

A 2026 date at Changi Cove (S$1,088++, about S$1,305 nett) is under S$1,500 nett, but 2027 prices move it into this section. It takes 80 to 220 guests. The main watch-out is location: if half your guests live in the west, factor in transport.

Furama City Centre and Furama RiverFront

Furama's wedding packages are valid for weddings held by 31 December 2027:

• City Centre Ballroom I, II and Grand Ballroom: S$1,458++, Saturday dinner S$1,538++
• RiverFront Jupiter Ballroom: S$1,358++, Saturday dinner S$1,458++

For 30 to 80 guests, a solemnisation lunch is often better value than a full banquet package with a minimum table count.

If you are stuck between 120 and 150 guests, be careful. Some hotel ballrooms ask for 18 to 20 tables (Grand Copthorne Waterfront's Waterfront Ballroom, for example, has a 20-table minimum), which can push you into inviting extra people.

Affordable does not mean bad. It does mean tradeoffs.

You may not get:
