Merry Bees

We booked Merry Bees for a duo (singer + keyboard) for our lunch solemnization and cocktail hour, and they set the perfect ambiance. Soft acoustic covers during the ceremony brought tears, and upbeat jazz during cocktails kept the energy flowing. They were very accommodating with our song requests, including learning a song that was meaningful to us but not in their usual repertoire. Communication before the event was prompt and detailed. They sent a proposed setlist for our approval and made changes based on our feedback. Highly recommend even for smaller, intimate celebrations.

Merry Bees provided a four-piece live band for our dinner reception and they absolutely made the night. They played a perfect mix of English and Chinese love songs, adapted their energy to the room's mood, and got everyone on the dance floor for the last hour. The lead singer's voice was stunning, and the band took our song requests and personalised the setlist. They also MC'd the evening, which meant one less vendor to coordinate. Very professional — they arrived early, did a thorough sound check, and handled all their own setup. Made our wedding reception feel like a concert afterparty.
