Shangri-La Singapore

We had our solemnization at the Garden Wing waterfall area and our banquet in the Valley Wing ballroom. The lush tropical gardens made for incredible photos — our photographer said it was one of his favourite venues to shoot at. The food was consistently excellent across all eight courses, and the service staff were attentive without being intrusive. Our wedding coordinator Jasmine was a gem, handling last-minute changes to seating with grace. The bridal suite was gorgeous and huge, perfect for getting ready. One of the best decisions we made for our wedding.

The Shangri-La is undeniably beautiful and the garden areas are stunning for photos. However, we were a bit disappointed with the banquet food — some courses were excellent (the lobster and the dessert) but the shark's fin alternative soup was underwhelming for the price. The service was good overall but our table's waiter seemed new and unsure about wine service. The coordination team was professional and the venue itself is gorgeous. Would still recommend, just manage expectations on the food front.
